Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY)<\/strong>, Himachal Pradesh saw the approval of 2,683 kilometers of rural roads and 22 bridges<\/strong> across 254 road projects<\/strong> during the financial year 2023-24.<\/p>\n

Union Minister for Road Transport and National Highways, Nitin Gadkari<\/strong>, shared these details in Parliament while responding to a query from Kangra-Chamba MP Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the districts, Kangra received the highest share<\/strong>, with 502 kilometers of roads and five bridges across 55 projects<\/strong>. In contrast, Lahaul-Spiti saw approval for only 64 kilometers of roads under seven projects<\/strong>, reflecting disparities in project allocation.<\/p>\n
