Himachal Pradesh’s Technical Education Minister, Rajesh Dharmani, met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, in Nagpur to discuss key road and highway infrastructure projects in the state.
During the meeting, Gadkari emphasized the importance of strengthening national highways and enhancing tourism-related infrastructure. Discussions also explored the potential for ropeway projects to improve connectivity in remote and hilly areas.
A significant point of discussion was the construction of a bridge from Lonoo to Beri-Darola, aimed at improving accessibility. Dharmani highlighted the need to accelerate infrastructure development in Himachal Pradesh to boost economic growth and tourism.
The minister also expressed gratitude to Gadkari for the generous funding allocated to ongoing NH and ropeway projects in the state.
