Chandigarh: In a press conference held in Chandigarh, Chief Minister Nayab Saini made significant announcements aimed at benefiting farmers and the general public of Haryana. Before heading to Jharkhand, he extended his best wishes to the people on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti and announced the release of the second installment of bonuses for farmers on this auspicious day.
300 Crore Bonus for Farmers
The Chief Minister revealed that the government has decided to deposit ₹300 crore as bonus directly into the accounts of farmers. Earlier, on August 16, the government had distributed ₹496 crore in bonuses. CM Saini termed this initiative as a crucial step by the government to enhance farmers’ income and improve their economic condition.
Launch of ‘Vivaadon Se Samadhan’ Scheme
In his address, the Chief Minister also launched the “Vivaadon Se Samadhan” (Resolution of Disputes) scheme, which will run for the next six months. He informed that around 50,000 individuals have already benefited from the first phase of the scheme. The primary aim of this initiative is to resolve ongoing disputes and provide relief to the public by ensuring quicker solutions.
Soil Health Card Scheme
Additionally, CM Saini announced the launch of the “Soil Health Card Scheme.” Under this initiative, farmers will receive information about the fertility of their land and the essential nutrients present in the soil. The relevant departments will implement this scheme to help farmers enhance their farming practices, making them more productive and profitable.
