Mumbai: On October 23, 2024, the Mahavikas Aghadi, a coalition of three major political parties in Maharashtra, held an important meeting in Mumbai to finalize its seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming elections. Additionally, Raut addressed some administrative errors in the first list of candidates released by the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction), which included 65 candidates. He acknowledged the existence of mistakes within the list and assured that party leader Anil Desai would review it for necessary corrections.
