Srinagar, Feb 3, 2025 – National Conference (NC) General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar on Monday reaffirmed that the party remains the true voice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, with a strong presence across all regions.
Addressing a workers’ meeting at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Sagar highlighted the NC’s historical role in protecting the region’s distinct identity, as envisioned by its founder, Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah. He emphasized the party’s dedication to safeguarding the people’s rights during challenging times and vowed to continue this mission in the future.
Acknowledging the hardships faced by the people due to years of undemocratic rule, Sagar assured that under the leadership of Omar Abdullah, the NC is committed to rectifying past injustices and restoring dignity to the people. He urged party workers to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level, uphold its core values, and work collectively for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir.
