Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced that 99.84% of family members have been successfully verified on the E-Parivar register. Out of a total of 75,18,296 family members, 75,05,913 have been verified under this initiative.
E-Parivar is an online platform designed to manage family records at the Gram Panchayat level. Panchayat Secretaries have been provided with secure login credentials to update family data, and the system has been mandatory since April 27, 2024. The Chief Minister emphasized that this initiative is a significant step toward digitizing family records, allowing seamless addition of new families and modifications to existing records. The government is also mapping family details with ration cards to enhance service delivery.
E-Parivar facilitates various online services, including issuing Parivar Nakal, marriage certificates, and BPL certificates through the E-Parivar and E-District portals. The CM reiterated the government’s commitment to leveraging digital solutions for efficient governance, enhancing transparency, and creating a citizen-centric ecosystem. By reducing paperwork and streamlining processes, the initiative aims to save time and resources, ensuring government services reach people at their doorstep.
“The E-Parivar initiative is a testament to the state government’s vision of a digitally empowered Himachal Pradesh, making governance more accessible, efficient, and transparent for every citizen,” the Chief Minister said.
