Ambala, February 4, 2025  – Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij has intensified his criticism of the BJP leadership and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, accusing party leaders of sabotaging his election campaign.

Taking to social media platform X, Vij alleged that Ashish Tayal, a close associate of CM Saini, had links with Independent candidate Chitra Sarwara, who was his electoral opponent in the last Assembly elections.

Vij’s Allegations on X

In a strongly worded post, Vij wrote:

“Ashish Tayal, who calls himself a friend of Nayab Saini, has many pictures with him on Facebook. The same workers who stood with Tayal during the elections were also seen supporting Chitra Sarwara. What is this relationship called?”

When asked about his remarks, Vij refused to elaborate, stating that his post was self-explanatory.

Party Rift Widens

Vij has been vocal about his discontent with the party for failing to act against leaders who allegedly worked against him. Although the BJP relieved Tayal from his position as district treasurer on January 30, Vij dismissed it as an eyewash, arguing that Tayal’s term had already expired.

Chitra Sarwara Hits Back

Reacting sharply, Chitra Sarwara criticized Vij’s remarks, saying:

“Calling voters ‘traitors’ in a democracy is unfortunate. If supporting me makes someone a traitor, Vij should check the voter list for the 13,000 people who voted against him.”

She further mocked the BJP infighting, stating that Vij’s long-standing conflicts with BJP chief ministers made him an opposition within the party.

With the Haryana elections looming, Vij’s latest outburst has further exposed the cracks within the ruling BJP, raising questions about internal power struggles and the party’s strategy moving forward.
