BJP’s Historic Comeback in Delhi Assembly Elections

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured a decisive victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, winning 48 out of 70 seats, marking its return to power in the capital after 26 years. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) managed 22 seats, while the Congress failed to win a single seat for the third consecutive election.

Biggest Victory Margin: AAP’s Aaley Mohammad Iqbal (Matia Mahal) won by 42,724 votes, defeating BJP’s Deepti Indora.

 

Smallest Margin: BJP’s Chandan Kumar Choudhary (Sangam Vihar) won by just 344 votes.
