Vaccine Update: Over 194.92 crore vaccinated

New Delhi: More than 194.92 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far, in the nation-wide vaccination drive till Friday 7am.

Vaccination campaign started from March 16, 2022, for the age group 12-14 year old has, so far, covered over 3.50 crore adolescents with first dose of vaccine. Precaution dose for adults from 18-59 years, started from April 10, 2022, has over 31.55 lakh adults with precaution doses administered.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, more than 193.53 crore vaccine doses have been provided to States and union Territories through free-of-cost and direct state procurement channels. Out of those, more than 14.03 crore are, yet to be administered, still in-stock with the States and UTs.
