Vaccine Update: Over 185.38 vaccine administered in the country

New Delhi: More than 185.38 crore COVID-19 vaccine have been administered so far in the nation-wide vaccination drive, in the country. Vaccination for the age group 12-14 years, started on 16th March, 2022, have been administered for more than 2.11 crore adolescents. That is, more than 2 crore adolescents have got the first dose of Covid-19 till Friday morning.

According to the union Health Ministry, more than 187.03 crore vaccine have been provided to the States and union Territories so far, through free-of-cost and direct state procurement channels. Out of these, more than 16.36 crore are still available with the States and union Territories, yet to be administered.
