Mumbai: Shiv Sena’s Uddhav faction has filed another petition in the Supreme Court challenging Governor’s decision to invite Shinde to form the government. Petition is filed by General Secretary Subhash Desai.
Petition calls the process of speaker’s election and trust vote to be wrong.
Eknath Shinde had won the trust vote in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on July 4. The Uddhav faction has challenged the process of seeking the trust vote and the governor’s decision to invite Eknath Shinde to form the government.
