Jaipur: The Rajasthan government on Thursday midnight transferred 32 IPS officers, including the SPs of 10 districts. IG Hinglajdan and SP Manoj Kumar were removed after the brutal murder of Kanhaiyalal (42) in Udaipur. Now Praful Kumar will be the new IG of the Udaipur range and Vikas Sharma will be the SP. Sharma was earlier the SP in Ajmer.
Police station officers Govind Singh and ASI Bhanwarlal have already been suspended for negligence in the Kanhaiya case. On Thursday afternoon, SP Manoj Kumar suspended the SHO. Late-night the government removed them too. Hinglajdan has now been given the responsibility of Human Rights. In the case of two SHOs and two constables caught in Dungarpur for taking bribes in the past, the ACB had also considered the role of SP Sudhir Joshi as suspicious. Now the government has also removed SP Joshi. The IG of this range was Hinglajdan.
