New Delhi, November 14: Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani, is set to anchor a weekly radio program on Akashvani, highlighting the remarkable stories of women empowerment through government initiatives. The show, titled ‘Nai Soch Nai Kahani–A Radio Journey with Smriti Irani,’ will air every Wednesday from 9 AM to 10 AM on India’s largest broadcaster, Akashvani.
Commencing on November 15, the first episode will be broadcast on Akashvani Gold 100.1 MHz in Delhi and will be available across Akashvani stations nationwide. The program can also be accessed through the NewsOnAIR app, Akashvani’s website (www.newsonair.gov.in), the Akashvani YouTube channel @airnewsofficial, and various social media platforms.
Featuring success stories from diverse fields such as entrepreneurship, skill development, sports, health, and finance, the inaugural show will showcase women from start-ups and self-made business backgrounds. These women will share their journeys of success and how they have leveraged government initiatives in their ventures. Additionally, senior officials from different Central Government Ministries will provide insights into accessing the benefits of various government schemes.”
