As part of the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held in Goa, Russian cinema will be showcased in the film market. According to Russian media, a diverse array of Russian films, including the Russian-Indian documentary “Low Tide,” “Hoffman’s Fairy Tales,” “Major Grom: The Game,” “Anna’s Feelings,” and the series “Librarian,” will be presented during the event. The film market will bring together 11 Russian film and animation companies under the banner of “Russian Content Worldwide,” including Roskino Film Market, showcasing the Russian film industry’s brand. The collaboration is supported by the Russian Ministry of Culture.
Additionally, the Russian stand titled “Filming Locations in Russia” at the film market will provide information about potential filming locations in various Russian regions. Representatives from regions such as Kaliningrad Film Commission, Khabarovsk Cinematography Support and Development Center, and location scouting companies from St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region will participate.
According to Russian media reports, the mission of the “Filming Locations in Russia” project is to open Russia to the international film industry community. India was the first country whose representatives participated in this project.
The 54th International Film Festival of India is scheduled to take place in Goa from November 20 to 28. Film companies are expected to strengthen mutual relationships between India and other countries through the film market this year.
