Rewari: The “Yuva Sansad” (Youth Parliament) organized at Jain Public School in Rewari became a lively stage for students to express their views on politics with a touch of humor and satire. The event saw students openly discussing complex political issues while delivering sharp critiques and engaging in witty banter. Amidst jokes, poetry, and shayari, students presented the intricacies of politics with eloquence and creativity.
A House Full of Satire and Debate
The mock parliament was filled with intense debates on key issues such as the Uniform Civil Code, CAA, NRC, Waqf Board, pollution from stubble burning, women’s safety and respect, issues faced by athletes, petroleum prices, small industries, and EVM fraud. The heated discussions, controversies, sharp words, and lively arguments brought the session to life, making it both engaging and informative. The playful squabbles between students, the election of the Speaker, and the unexpected twists in the parliamentary proceedings added excitement to the event.
Special Guests and Award Distribution
Professor Ashok Kumar and members of the school management appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and involvement. Vaishnavi was awarded the title of “Best Energetic Leader,” while Riya was honored with the “President’s Award” for her measured and articulate speech. Arvind Jain, the special guest of the event, praised the students for their impressive acting skills. The winners were presented with prizes as the event drew to a close.
Successful Execution of the Mock Parliament
The event was expertly managed by Prachi and Aditya, who effectively introduced the students to the workings of parliamentary procedures. Natasha, Pari, Ishanvi, and Aditya were awarded for their outstanding performances, while Rakshit, Vanshika, and Chahak received consolation prizes.
