Significant projects will be announced under PMMSY, including productivity enhancement, post-harvest infrastructure, and value chain augmentation initiatives. The event will also highlight national priority projects for 2024-25, with a focus on digital portals, climate-resilient coastal fishing villages, and fisheries clusters.

Since 2014, India has seen a transformation in the fisheries sector through initiatives like the Blue Revolution and PMMSY, with an investment of ₹38,572 crores. PMMSY, launched in 2020 with a budget of 20,050 crore, has revolutionized India’s fisheries by improving productivity, technology, and infrastructure.
