Quality Council of India Hosts ‘Youth for Quality Bharat Festival’ to Foster Quality Consciousness Among Indian Youth

New Delhi, February 7, 2024: In a bid to emphasize the importance of quality across all spheres of life and to nurture a culture of quality consciousness among the youth, the Quality Council of India (QCI) organized the ‘Youth for Quality Bharat Festival 2024’ at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event witnessed the participation of over 2500 enthusiastic young minds from various universities across the country.

Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, Shri Piyush Goyal, graced the occasion as the chief guest, reiterating the significance of quality in every facet of life. Addressing the gathering, Shri Goyal emphasized that quality is indispensable for sustainable development and highlighted the Indian consumers’ demand for superior quality products and services.

The event, attended by key figures from the Government of India, including Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs & Sports, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, aimed to empower the youth to become catalysts for change and development in line with the government’s vision of a prosperous Bharat by 2047.

As part of the Quality Bharat @100 Mission, the festival served as a platform to promote a ‘Quality Bharat, Viksit Bharat’. It featured a series of engaging activities, including inspirational talks, live performances, and the launch of the Youth for Quality Bharat Mission video.

Motivational speaker Vijendra Chauhan kick-started the event, followed by a lively comedy show by renowned standup comedian Amit Tandon. The audience was treated to a powerful motivational speech by legendary Indian Olympic boxer and former Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, MC Mary Kom. Renowned National Award-winning choreographer and contemporary dancer Ganesh Acharya and his troupe captivated the audience with a mesmerizing live performance.

The highlight of the festival was the launch of the Youth for Quality Bharat Mission video, underscoring the pivotal role of quality in shaping a better future for India and urging young people to actively contribute to this endeavor.

The event marked a significant milestone in the Quality Bharat @100 Mission, signaling a new era of youth-led development and quality consciousness. The Quality Council of India expressed its gratitude to all participants, dignitaries, and supporters for their contribution to making the festival a resounding success and reiterated its commitment to continue promoting excellence in partnership with the youth of India.
