New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Gujarat for three days starting from today. He will be on a state tour till October 9, 10, 11. On the last day, he will go on a tour of Madhya Pradesh. The Prime Minister will take part in a program in Ujjain. During his Gujarat visit, Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for projects worth over ₹14,500 crore.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of the projects at Modhera in Mehsana at around 5:30 pm today. After this, he will have darshan and worship at Modheshwari Mata Temple at around 6:45 pm and will visit the Sun Temple at 7:30 pm.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the projects at Bharuch’s Amod at around 11 am on October 10, the second day of his visit. At around 3:15 pm, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Modi Educational Complex in Ahmedabad. After this, at 5:30 pm, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the projects and lay the foundation stone in Jamnagar.
The third and last day of his Gujarat tour, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of projects at the Civil Hospital Asarwa in Ahmedabad on October 11 at 2:15 pm. This will be his last program of Gujarat tour. After that he will leave for Madhya Pradesh.
Modi will declare Modhera as the country’s first solar village. He will preside over a public function in Mehsana today. He will lay the foundation stone for projects worth over ₹3,900 crore in Modhera. During this, Modhera village will be declared as India’s first round the clock solar powered village. Solar power operation of the entire village is the first scheme of its kind.
