Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day working visit to the United States starting February 12, where he will meet with US President Donald Trump. The visit aims to strengthen India-US bilateral ties, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs on Friday.
Before heading to the US, Modi will visit France from February 10-12 to co-chair the AI Action Summit alongside French President Emmanuel Macron. During his stay, he will also tour the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) site in Cadarache, where India is a partner in the global research project.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated that these visits will provide momentum and strategic direction to India’s relations with both France and the US.
