Barwani,MP: In a fervent prelude to the Madhya Pradesh elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted on Monday that despite facing relentless criticism from the Congress, the unwavering love of the countrymen overshadows the abuses hurled at him. Addressing the crowd in Barwani, Madhya Pradesh, Modi emphasized the contrast between the public’s affection for him and the Congress’s persistent attempts to vilify him.
“While they (Congress) may shower me with abuse, your love triumphs over their negativity. I catch them and seize their ill-gotten wealth. Do you believe they (Congress) should face justice? Your love for me shatters their attempts to undermine me,” declared Prime Minister Modi during his campaign.
Highlighting the ongoing investigations into alleged financial misconduct in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan through central probe agencies, Modi questioned the legitimacy of the funds unearthed. He challenged whether these piles of currency were hard-earned, honest money, questioning the need for hiding such proceeds under mattresses.
Examining the broader implications of the upcoming elections, Modi framed it as a decision crucial to the “bright future” of Madhya Pradesh, extending beyond the traditional BJP-Congress rivalry. He accused Congress leaders of plunging the state into darkness and positioned the BJP as the force that rescued Madhya Pradesh from obscurity.
“This election transcends the BJP versus Congress narrative. It will determine the bright future of Madhya Pradesh. Congress wants to capture MP merely to fill its empty coffers, whereas BJP is committed to putting ‘Nation First’,” asserted Prime Minister Modi.
Elaborating on priorities, Modi emphasized the BJP’s commitment to service and its mission of ‘Nation First’. He highlighted his recent visits to border areas during Diwali and an upcoming visit to the village of Bhagwan Birsa Munda in Jharkhand, illustrating the government’s focus on national priorities.
Promising to fulfill all commitments made to the people, Modi offered a guarantee to the residents of Madhya Pradesh, citing the BJP’s track record of delivering on promises. He also mentioned the declaration of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, celebrating the tribal community’s contributions.
Continuing his critique of the Congress for neglecting the tribal community, Modi emphasized the BJP’s efforts to give due respect to this marginalized group. He announced an upcoming visit to Birsa Munda’s village, where he plans to unveil a significant scheme for the country’s tribal population — the PM PVTG (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups) Development Mission.
As the election date approaches on November 17, with the counting of votes scheduled for December 3, Prime Minister Modi concluded his rally by reiterating the BJP’s commitment to fulfilling promises and serving the people of Madhya Pradesh.
