New Delhi: While addressing an event on the occasion of India’s Constitution Day, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud said that the paramount challenge that the judiciary as an institution faces is to ensure that the justice delivery system is accessible to everyone. “In a nation as large and diverse as ours, the paramount challenge that the judiciary as an institution faces is to ensure that the justice delivery system is accessible to everyone. Challenges require dedicated actions,” he said. “We have been adopting technology to improve the working of courts. It is of supreme importance and necessity that the courts are remodelled to reach out to the people instead of people reaching out to the courts in their quest for justice,” added the CJI on November 26.
