No carbon dating of Gyanvapi Shivling

Varanasi: The court of District Judge Dr Ajay Krishna Vishwesh, on Friday, rejected the demand for carbon dating of the Shivling found in the Gyanvapi Masjid.

The court pronounced the verdict in the presence of the Hindu and Muslim litigants.Earlier, the court allowed a total of 62 people from both the sides to enter the court premises. After hearing both the sides and giving time to file objections, the court had reserved the verdict.
