New Delhi, Sep 10, 2024: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has launched the third phase of its capacity-building initiatives under the Digital India vision. This phase focuses on key areas such as Digital Public Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML), Contract and Procurement Management, and Digital Governance. These initiatives aim to enhance the skills of officials at both Central and State levels, through specialized training programs across the country.
On September 10, the second regional program focusing on Digital Public Infrastructure was inaugurated at the India Habitat Centre, Delhi. Organized by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) in collaboration with the National Institute for Smart Governance (NISG), the program includes 32 participants from Central ministries, public sector undertakings, and northern states.
The training integrates theoretical concepts with practical case studies, empowering officials to better manage digital transformation projects and advance the development of Digital Public Goods (DPGs) in their departments.
