The credit of Vedic mathematics in modern times goes to Bharati Krishna Tirtha Maharaj. He refined the ancient methods of calculation and named it Vedic mathematics.

The Prime Minister said that the most important thing about Vedic Mathematics was that through this you could do even the most difficult calculations with the blink of an eye. Nowadays, videos of many such youth learning and teaching Vedic maths were also available on social media.

The whole society has a responsibility in this regard. Modi said that for centuries, different societies have been continuously making their own efforts for water conservation. While explaining the importance of water, Modi also mentioned a Sanskrit verse. He said, “Paniyam paramam loke, jeevanam jeevanam samritam i.e. water is the basis of life of every living being in the world. Water is also the biggest resource, so our ancestors also laid so much emphasis on water conservation.

Yet the awareness about water conservation was very high. But, today the situation is opposite. I urge all of you to know about such old ponds, wells and lakes in your area. Due to the Amrit Sarovar Abhiyan, along with water conservation, the identity of your area will also be created.
