J&K : Kashmir valley grippes in intense cold waves since onset of Chilia-Kalan

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Kashmir valley is gripped in intense cold waves since the onset of Chilia-Kalan, a 40-day intense cold period that began on December 21.

As per the local unit of the MET department, the Srinagar recorded a minimum of minus 4 degrees Celcius temperature.

The department has predicted mainly dry and chilly weather conditions for the next one week.
