New Delhi: The National Testing Agency on Monday declared the final results for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2022. In the overall merit list based on session 01 and session 02 performance, 24 candidates have secured 100 percentile.
24 candidates have secured 100 NTA score in BE/B.Tech (Paper 1) in JEE (Main) – 2022 exam. In this, maximum five candidates are from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The list includes four candidates from Rajasthan and two from Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, there is one candidate each from Maharashtra, Haryana, Assam, Bihar, Punjab, Kerala, Karnataka and Jharkhand.
Only two girls in the top 24 have managed to achieve 100 percentile. Palli Jalajakshi of Andhra Pradesh and Sneha Pareek of Assam have secured 100 percentile. A total of 6,48,555 boys and 2,57,031 girls had appeared in both the JEE sessions this year. Results of five candidates have been withheld due to using unfair means.
This year, a total of 10,26,799 unique candidates registered for both the sessions (June/July), out of which 9,05,590 candidates appeared in the examination. Session-I exam was conducted from June 24 to June 30, while session-II exam was conducted from July 25 to 30. The exam was conducted at 622 exam centers in 440 cities including 17 outside India.
