Dr. Manik Saha to take oath as CM of Tripura on Wednesday

The stage has been set for the swearing-in ceremony of senior BJP leader Dr. Manik Saha as the new chief minister of Tripura on Wednesday. Dr. Saha will be administered oath of office and secrecy by Governor Satyadeo Narayan Arya.

Preparations are on in full-swing at the Swami Vivekananda Ground in Agartala where the swearing-in ceremony of new chief minister and council of ministers will take place.

The swearing-in ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP chief J.P. Nadda several Union ministers, chief ministers from the north-eastern states and people from various walks of life.

Sources said, home minister Amit Shah and BJP chief J.P. Nadda who reached Agartala this evening held a meeting with Chief Minister designate Manik Saha. Other leaders of the state BJP were also present in this meeting.
