Delhi: Atishi, a senior leader of the AAP, conducted an inspection of the Burari Chhath ghat, emphasizing the Arvind Kejriwal government’s arrangements for devotees during the upcoming four-day Chhath festival starting on November 17. Expressing concern over the toxic foam on the Yamuna, she stated that Delhi Jal Board teams are actively using boats to spray chemicals and enzymes for its removal, anticipating clearance within the next one or two days. Atishi also urged the Uttar Pradesh government to cease the release of polluted water, attributing the contamination to the upstream barrage.”
