India Corona Death WHO: The WHO claims that 47 lakh people have died due to corona in India. Now the central government has objected.

New Delhi: The World Health Organization (WHO) has released a report on deaths due to corona. According to that report, more than 4.7 million people have lost their lives due to corona in India. At the same time, India’s official figure is a little over five lakhs. In such a scenario, the Indian government has objected to the WHO report.

The Government of India has raised questions on that statistic. According to him, the technique or model by which the World Health Organization has collected these figures is not accurate. The statement said that despite India’s objections, the WHO has released death statistics using old technology and models.

The government also stressed that the figures released by the WHO are for only 17 states. According to the Center, the WHO has not clarified which states they are for a long time. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. In addition, the government objected to the WHO collecting data using mathematical models, while India recently released a reliable CSR report.

What exactly does the WHO report say?

According to the WHO report, 1.5 crore people have died in the last two years due to corona or untimely treatment. At the same time, India’s figure is said to be over 47 lakhs.

“This is a very serious matter,” said WAS chief Tedros Adnom Ghebrieus. It emphasized the need for all countries to be more prepared for future health emergencies and to invest more in them.

At present, globally, India is going to raise its voice against the figures released by the WHO. Objections to this incremental statistic will be lodged on every important platform.

AIIMS director Randeep Guleria has also said that the WHO figures are not correct. He also questioned the manner in which the WHO had collected the data. He also said that India has a systematic method of recording birth and death data. In which all types of deaths are recorded except covid. But this data was not used by the World Health Organization. That is what he has said.

VK Paul, a member of the NITI Commission, also believes that the death toll from corona in India is staggering. In such a situation their model cannot be ignored. Because they have only released approximate statistics. In 2020, there were 1.49 lakh deaths due to corona in India. Even so, Paul said.
