Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made an important statement regarding the implementation of the revised Citizenship Act (CAA). Amit Shah has announced that the CAA Act will be implemented after the situation created by the Corona epidemic is brought under control. This was stated by Amit Shah, who is on a three-day tour of West Bengal.
The Trinamool Congress is currently spreading rumors that the CAA Act will not come into force, but I want to tell you that the CAA will be implemented once the Corona epidemic situation is brought under control. CAA was the reality of the country, this is the reality of the country and CAA will be the reality of the country … There will be no change in this, Shah clarified.
In 2019, Parliament passed an amended Citizenship Act. In which non-Muslim persons from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan i.e. Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, Christians will be given Indian citizenship. Non-Muslims who arrive before 31 December 2014 will not be considered as illegal immigrants . This law of the Central Government was opposed by non-BJP ruled states in India. Which included West Bengal.
Speaking on the occasion, Amit Shah criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Mamata Didi wants infiltration, but CAA is real, it will be implemented. The Modi government’s primary goal is to make the country’s internal and external security impenetrable, and we are working to provide our troops with the world’s most advanced technology for border security.
