Chinese aircraft flies close to Indian posts on the LAC, India raised concerns

New Delhi: The Chinese aircraft came very close to Indian posts on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. The Indian Air Force immediately got on alert to deal with any possible misadventure. After this, the Chinese plane returned to its border.

This is the first incident of violation of airspace by the Chinese Air Force during the two-year-old standoff in the Eastern Ladakh sector. India has strongly objected to the arrival of Chinese aircraft so close to the Indian Army stationed on the LAC.

The incident of Chinese aircraft coming very close to Indian posts on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh took place in the last week of June. Information about the incident has come to light on Friday, in which it has been said that the Indian Air Force had also become alert as soon as the Chinese aircraft came near the position of the Indian Army. A Chinese aircraft was caught by the radar of the Indian Air Force stationed in the border area. After this, the Indian Air Force was immediately active and prepared to deal with any untoward incident, after which the Chinese aircraft returned to their border. Since then, China has not done anything like this in the border areas with India.

The incident of Chinese aircraft coming close to Indian airspace comes at a time when the Chinese Air Force is conducting a major exercise in areas under its control near eastern Ladakh. During the exercise, China used air defence weapons extensively. In view of this, the Indian side has taken strict measures to prevent any possible misadventure by China in the Eastern Ladakh sector. Despite this, India has strongly objected to the arrival of Chinese aircraft close to the Indian posts posted on the LAC. India has asked to take up this issue with the Chinese Army as per established norms to prevent any such incident in the future.
