Can see lotus blooming everywhere in Telangana: Modi

Begumpet / New Delhi: Expressing confidence in the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he is seeing lotus blooming everywhere in Telangana. Surya Udaya in Telangana is not far away.

At the public meeting at Begumpet airport in Telangana, Modi praised the Telangana BJP worker and said that he was very impressed with the BJP workers of Telangana. He said party workers inspire him a lot as they are waging a ‘war’ against the oppressive state government run by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). He called upon the party workers of the state to reach out to the people and take the schemes of the Center to all.

Without naming Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao or the TRS, Prime Minister Modi said, Those who used the name Telangana made money and developed, but the state lagged behind. The ruling party leaders have been doing injustice to the rich talents of the region. The party on which the people of the state trusted has betrayed them the most.

Speaking on the recently concluded Munugode by-election, the Prime Minister said the faith the people of Munugode have shown in the BJP is unprecedented. He said that he saw how BJP workers made the entire Telangana government stand on one assembly seat. This shows that people of Telangana trust BJP. Modi said, “The results of all the recent bypolls in the state show that the ‘sun rise’ in Telangana is not far away. Lotus will bloom everywhere in Telangana, he said.

He further said that the ruling TRS has promoted superstition in a state known for its progress in terms of modern technology. The Prime Minister said that the whole country should know in which superstition the Telangana government is immersed. Superstition is deciding who should go to which office, who will remain in the cabinet and who will be out of the cabinet. Modi said that if Telangana has to be developed then superstitions should be removed. He said, “Telangana is the fort of information technology. But superstition is being promoted in this modern city, which hurts a lot. If Telangana has to be developed, it has to be removed from backwardness, then first of all we have to remove superstitions from here.

The Prime Minister said that the state needs ‘people first’ politics instead of ‘family first’ politics. He said that those who loot the poor will not be spared. Modi said that corrupt forces are uniting in view of the elections and the people of Telangana are aware.

The Prime Minister said that many people ask him how he does not get tired despite working very hard. He said, I don’t get tired because I eat 2-3 kilos of gaalis every day…God has blessed me in such a way that it turns into nutrition inside me. Abuse Modi, abuse BJP…but if you abuse the people of Telangana, you will pay a heavy price, he said.

Appealing to the party workers, the Prime Minister said, “I have a personal request to the workers of Telangana. Some people, out of desperation, fear and superstition, keep abusing Modi morning and evening. He said that when you walk on the path of development, take the country forward, then some people do face problems. Modi said that but there is no need to worry about it. I request you not to get carried away by these gimmicks and laugh those abuses over tea. Lotus is about to bloom the next day, move forward in this happiness. Because they have nothing left except abusing.

The prime minister alleged that the state government has blocked the Centre’s efforts to build houses for the poor under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme. He said that corruption and nepotism are the biggest enemies of the poor and development. BJP is committed to root out corruption.

He said that through the trinity of Jan Dhan, Aadhaar and Mobile, we have been able to weed out all fake beneficiaries. Money is directly reaching the account of the poor. Earlier the money and ration of the poor were looted through fraud.
