Amit Shah, Nadda reach Guwahati to inaugurate BJP office on Saturday

Guwahati: Home Minister Amit Shah, after his one-day visit to Sikkim, arrived at the Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) airport in Guwahati on Friday evening to inaugurate the state BJP’s new headquarters building and attend the workers’ conference, where Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and other leaders greeted him with a grand welcome.

Shah was welcomed by State BJP President Bhavesh Kalita, union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, as well as other senior leaders and cabinet colleagues of the Assam government.

BJP National President JP Nadda also reached Guwahati late in the evening for the inauguration. BJP core committee meeting was organized from 6 pm to 7 pm in the presence of Nadda, Shah and states leaders at the State Guest House at Koinadhara.
