Moscow: U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he plans to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters, Trump said, “I think we are doing very well with Russia. Let’s see if we have something to announce. Perhaps by Tuesday—I will be speaking with President Putin on Tuesday.”

He added that the discussions would focus on the Ukraine conflict and regional issues concerning control over nuclear power plants.

“It is a vast amount of land, and things are quite different now compared to before the war. As you know, we will be discussing territorial matters and the issue of power plants, which remains a significant question. But I believe both sides have already engaged in extensive discussions on this matter,” Trump stated.
