EC Bans Exit Polls Till 6:30 PM on February 5
New Delhi, February 4, 2025: The Election Commission (EC) has prohibited the release of exit polls from 7 AM to 6:30 PM on February 5, the day of polling for the Delhi Assembly elections. The official election results will be declared on February 8.
Congress Forms ‘EAGLE’ Panel to Monitor Polls
- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has announced the creation of the Empowered Action Group of Leaders and Experts (EAGLE).
- The panel will oversee the EC’s handling of elections and ensure a fair electoral process.
The EC’s exit poll ban is aimed at preventing undue influence on voters during the polling process.
