Mumbai, September 10, 2024 – Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, emphasized that the India-UAE relationship will be a defining friendship, brotherhood, and partnership of the decade and beyond. Speaking at the UAE-India Business Forum in Mumbai, Goyal highlighted the strength of the bilateral ties, particularly in innovation, investment, and sustainable development.
He remarked that the visit of UAE’s Crown Prince during the Ganpati festival marks the beginning of a new chapter in this relationship. Goyal also noted the impact of game-changing initiatives like local currency settlement and the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which will elevate trade and cooperation between the two nations.
With a focus on future-ready economies, the forum discussed key sectors like healthcare, biotechnology, renewable energy, and sustainability.
