Among the prominent figures who joined the BJP were 15 former Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), along with other key leaders from various political backgrounds, notably from the AIADMK. K Annamalai, the President of the Tamil Nadu BJP, disclosed the addition of these 16 influential personalities to the party’s ranks. The event witnessed the presence of Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics & Technology, underscoring the importance of this political realignment.
