Tel Aviv [Israel], January 9 – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched air strikes on Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in the villages of Kila and Yaron in southern Lebanon on Tuesday. The IDF artillery also targeted various areas in southern Lebanon in response to rockets fired from Lebanese territory into Israel earlier in the day. Additionally, Israeli air defense successfully intercepted a hostile aircraft that entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon, although the specific type of aircraft was not disclosed by the IDF.
