Bhopal : Chief Minister Shivraj gave these instructions after reviewing the Jal Jeevan Mission

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: CM Shivraj addressed the review meeting of Jal Jeevan Mission in the residence office, in the meeting, CM has said that the work of Jal Jeevan Mission should be completed within the time-limit.

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Today Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a review meeting of the Jal Jeevan Mission, Chief Minister Shivraj has given these important instructions by holding a review meeting of the Jal Jeevan Mission at the residence office.

According to the information received, today CM Shivraj addressed the review meeting of Jal Jeevan Mission at the residence office. Minister of State for Public Health Engineering Brijendra Singh Yadav, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Public Health Engineering Malay Srivastava, Principal Secretary Finance Manoj and other departmental officers were present in this meeting.

Giving instructions to speed up the ongoing works in Jal Jeevan Mission, the CM said-

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while giving instructions to speed up the ongoing works under Jal Jeevan Mission said that it is the commitment of the state government to supply water from tap to every household of the state. Delay in work will not be tolerated in this technological age. The Chief Minister said that to ensure that the work is completed within the time-limit, work should be allotted to the agencies concerned as per their capacity and the officials should keep a constant vigil on the progress of the work. Adequate technical staff will be made available to complete the activities conducted in Jal Jeevan Mission in time-limit.

He said that the quality should not be compromised under any circumstances. In Jal Jeevan Mission, special efforts should be made in Jalabhishek Abhiyan to enrich the water sources where they are weak. Also ensure the arrangement of digital entry and measurement of work electronically. It was informed in this meeting that activities of Jal Jeevan Mission are to be covered in 51 thousand 585 villages of the state, out of which approvals have been issued for 39 thousand 565 villages. The Chief Minister also directed to submit month-wise information about the progress of water supply schemes and the likely date of completion.
