If the army is recruited on a contract basis through the Agnipath scheme, the reputation of the entire army will be tarnished. This is an insult to the Indian Army, the security forces. Every plan announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed. Sanjay Raut has said that only slaves can be bought on contract and not soldiers .
“Those who are responsible for the security of the country cannot be taken on contract. It is an insult to the entire Indian Army to hire them only as jobs,” Raut said. Meanwhile, the Agneepath scheme has been launched by the Central Government for 4 years of recruitment in the Indian Army. However, various states in the country are opposing the scheme. The plan has been criticized by the Congress. The Congress has said that this plan will shatter the dreams of the youth.

Decision of 10% reservation

Protests have erupted across the country against the central government’s limited-time recruitment drive ‘Agneepath’. The Union Home Ministry has taken another decision to quell the anger, which has been violently opposed by the youth. It has been decided to reserve 10 per cent seats in the Assam Rifles and Central Armed Police Force for the firefighters selected from the Agneepath scheme.

What exactly is Agneepath Yojana?

– In the Indian Army, youngsters in the age group of 17.5 to 21 years will get jobs as firefighters. With a four-year period in which their training will also take place. Will be included with it.

– In four years, all of them will be given military training

– After this, only 25% of the youth in the unit will be recruited in the army

– In the first year, 46,000 youths will be recruited as firefighters

– These firefighters will get a salary of 30 to 40 thousand rupees per month. Salary will increase to some extent every year. Upon completion of their term, they will get Rs 11.71 lakh under service fund, which will be tax free. Recruiters will have to meet the required medical qualifications.
