In the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, the Uttar Pradesh Police Special Investigation Team (SIT) has submitted a charge sheet in court against 14 defendants, including Ashish.
The SIT has filed a 5000-page charge sheet in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Chintaram, according to Senior Prosecution Officer SP Yadav.

Ankit Das, Nandan Singh Bisht, Satyam Tripathi, Latif alias Kale, Shekhar Bharti, Sumit Jaiswal, Ashish Pandey, Lavkush Rana, Shishupal, Ullas Kumar alias Mohit Trivedi, Rinku Rana, and Dharmendra Banjara have been listed as the primary defendants in this case. was also detained.
In this case, the SIT had told the court that the killing of four farmers and a journalist was a “well-planned conspiracy”. The SIT had claimed that it was not a case of negligence.
