Washington: The iPhone maker Apple has threatened to remove the social site Twitter from its App Store without any clarification or the cause. Apple has also stopped Twitter’s advertisement on the social media platform. The billionaire CEO of Twitter and Tesla, Elon Musk, gave this update.
Musk said that Apple is pressuring Twitter on content moderation. The move by Apple is not unusual at all. He said that it has also removed Gab and Parlor apps.
Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion last month. In a tweet, Musk tagged Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook and asked what is happening here? Apple has not responded to this.
