Anti-Pak protests in Japan, US against 26/11 Mumbai attack

Tokyo/New York, 27 November : Tributes were paid to the departed souls on the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attack in Mumbai on November 26, 2008.

People gathered in front of the Pakistan Embassy in Japan’s capital Tokyo to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. People paid tribute to the portraits of eight Indian security personnel martyred in the attack. The people, holding the tricolour, demonstrated in front of the Pakistan Embassy for a long time.

The demonstartors also held poster of terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jamaat-ud-Dawa leader Hafiz Saeed with the caption The mastermind of the Mumbai terror attack.

In New York, Indian Americans and South Asian expatriates protested fiercely in front of the Pakistan Consulate. Demonstrations also took place in front of the Pakistan Consulate in Houston, Chicago and the Pakistan Community Centre in New Jersey.
