SDM Mahendragarh took membership of Mission Mahendragarh Apna Jal Abhiyan
Mahendragarh: Under Mission Mahendragarh Apna Jal Abhiyan, plantation will be continuously promoted on water conservation in the district. More and more citizens will be added to this campaign so that the earth can be made green. Mahendragarh’s SDM Harshit Kumar said this while taking membership as a member of Mission Mahendragarh Apna Jal Team today.
Made people aware for tree plantation
He told that this mission is being run as a mass movement, in which the participation of every citizen is necessary. It is the responsibility of every person to keep water, forest and land clean and tidy. In such a situation, we all should join this mission with full sincerity. Harshit Kumar IAS told that to make the dreams of the Deputy Commissioner come true, he will make people aware for maximum water conservation and plantation.
He has called upon the people to keep their taps closed to avoid wastage of water in their neighbourhood. Don’t let the water go to waste. In view of the winter season, he has called upon the people to take care of trees to protect them from winter. Add water to them from time to time so that they do not get affected by cold.
He told that the water table in Mahendragarh district is very low, for this we have to save every drop of water. Rain water can be collected by making small pits in it so that the rain water can enter the lap of mother earth.
Don’t waste too much water
He has called upon the farmers to keep the meads of their fields strong so that the rain water can get absorbed in the fields. He has again called upon the farmer brothers that you should use your tube water for farming only according to your need and do not waste too much water. Mission Mahendragarh Apna Jal team member Rajesh Sharma Jhadli told that Harshit Kumar IAS took his cap and T-shirt in the small secretariat today as per the instructions of Dr. Jaikrishna Abhir, Deputy Commissioner and Coordinator of Mission Mahendragarh Apna Jal. Steno Brahmadutt Sharma, Satveer Singh, Shankar etc were present on this occasion.
