New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand over appointment letters to 71,000 newly appointed personnel under the employment fair on Tuesday. The Prime Minister had handed over appointment letters to 75,000 newly recruited youth while inaugurating the ‘Rozgar Mela’, a recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel on October 22.

Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a statement on Monday that as part of the job fair, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters to about 71,000 newly recruited youth through video conferencing on November 22 at 10:30 am. Prime Minister will also address the newly appointed youth.

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation. The job fair is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and direct participation in national development. Earlier in October, appointment letters were handed over to 75,000 newly appointed recruits under the job fair.

Physical copies of appointment letters will be handed over to the new recruits at 45 locations across the country (except Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh). Teacher, Lecturer, Nurse, Nursing Officer, Doctor, Pharmacist, Radiographer and other technical and paramedical posts are also being filled in addition to the previously filled post categories. A large number of posts are being filled by the Ministry of Home Affairs in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

The Prime Minister will also launch the Karmayogi Pramukh module. The module is an online orientation course for all new recruits in various government departments. This will include code of conduct for government employees, workplace ethics and integrity, HR policies and other benefits and perks that will help them adapt to policies and transition smoothly to new roles. They will also get an opportunity to explore other courses on the igotkarmayogi.gov.in platform to enhance their knowledge, skills and competencies.
