Musk restores Donald Trump’s tweeter account

Washington: Former US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account has been restored. Twitter owner Elon Musk announces reinstatement of Trump’s account. He took this decision after knowing the opinion of the people on Twitter.

 

Trump’s Twitter account was suspended after the attack on the US Parliament last year. Elon Musk had asked users in a poll on November 19, whether Trump’s account should be restored or not. Nearly 51.8 percent of the users voted in favor of restoring the account. A total of 1,50,85,458 people participated in this poll. Over 135 million people viewed the poll.

 

Before buying Twitter, Musk had described the restrictions imposed on several accounts, including Trump’s, as a foolish attitude. He had said, ‘Permanent sanctions should be very short. This should be attributed to spam or scam accounts.
