Visakhapatnam: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of nine projects worth ₹15,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. The state government has completed all the preparations for this. Tight security arrangements have been made during this time.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Visakhapatnam on Friday evening on a two-day visit to Andhra Pradesh. According to information received from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Prime Minister Modi will land at the naval airport INS Dega. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will welcome the Prime Minister here. From here the Prime Minister will leave directly for the guest house of the Eastern Naval Command. Prime Minister Modi will also participate in a road show of BJP workers from INS Dega to Naval Dockyard.
According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch or lay the foundation stone for nine projects worth over ₹15,000 crore in the state on Saturday at 9:40 am on the grounds of the Engineering College of Andhra University. Apart from Chief Minister, union Minister and Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan, many senior officials will also be present in this function. The Prime Minister will also address a public meeting on the grounds of the Engineering College. According to the program, after the public meeting, the Prime Minister will reach INS Dega, the airport of Eastern Naval Command, by helicopter again at 11:45 am. The Prime Minister will leave for Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, from here on Saturday afternoon.
Regarding the program of the Prime Minister, the Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam said that more than 10,000 policemen have been deployed in view of the Prime Minister’s visit.
Prime Minister Modi is visiting Visakhapatnam for the first time after 2019. It is believed that Modi’s two-day state visit will work to boost the morale of BJP workers. In this regard, BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao said that the visit of the Prime Minister will definitely strengthen the BJP in the state. BJP is also planning to host another event for launch of new railway zone, HPCL expansion, ESI, IIPE etc. She wants to send a message to the people that the projects have the full support of the Centre. During the Prime Minister’s stay, representatives of various political parties and industry, including the TDP, have sought time to meet him.
